SMS 1028 is a Series of Modularized Advanced Managed Industrial Ethernet Switches, equipped with up to 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It meets the IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 (power substation) standards. Its reliable hardware design is suitable for industrial applications. It is a modularized design for flexible and scalable networks, supports all-electrical 8 ports card and all-fiber 8 ports card and up to 4 Gigabit uplink ports. It has Proprietary Protocol “Fi Ring” redundant ring (recovery time < 20ms), RSTP, STP and MSTP for network redundant path. The dual isolated redundant power supplies increase the reliability of communication. It supports VLAN and QoS and SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH to enhance network security. Easy network management can be attained through web browser, CLI, Telnet/serial console and SNMP. Optional front and rear wiring brings convenience for different wiring environment. All these features make SMS 1028 Series suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
